Interview Protocol 2:


Warm-up Questions (10 minutes):
  • What is your name?
  • How old are you? What grade are you in?
  • Do you enjoy listening to music?
  • What is your favorite kind of music?
  • Is there a reason that is your favorite?
  • How often do you think you listen to music daily?


General Focus Questions:
  • Do you listen to music with friends?
  • Can you describe a particular time you and your friends were listening to music?
  • What were you doing when you were listening to music?
  • What songs were you listening to?
  • What kind of music do you like?
  • Can you describe the type of particular music that you like? And some of your favorite songs?
  • Can you explain why you like them so much?
  • Do they like the same music as you?
  • Why or why not, do you think?
  • Can you talk about some songs that you like that your friends might not like?
  • Why do you think they don’t like that?
  • Do you and most of your friends no most of the words to the songs you both know?
